Beautiful London Temple

For four days we hosted another senior couple. The Gehrings are from Washington state and are fresh from the MTC.

We enjoyed visiting with them and showing them around Brighton. The pier and the Royal Pavilion were a hit. We also took them to Saltdean and showed them the chalk cliffs along the sea front.

We made arrangements to travel back to the mission office with them and spent a couple of days there. Since it was the week after Easter there were no YSA activities for us.

Members from Europe often visit the London temple even though they have a temple closer because of the beautiful grounds and the accommodation centre.

It was inspiring to me look out our window and see the angel Moroni atop the spire. The whole grounds are sacred and lend a peaceful feeling.

Elder Parrett checks on the Rhododendrons.

We certainly enjoyed our unrushed time here, serving those who cannot do the work for themselves.

It looks like you're managing to get around beautifully without a vehicle of your own :) How wonderful that you were able to attend the temple!
